Yazd

With an area of 130,000 Sq.M., Yazd is located on the Central Plateau. Neighboring Loot Desert and Shirkouh Mountains with snow-covered peaks 4075 meters high, the Yazd province combines a variety of climates.

With its 3,000-year-old history, 75-kilometer qanats, rare specious of animals and birds such as Asian cats, jay and deer exposed to the threat of extinction and the unique handicrafts like Termeh, pottery, and ceramics, Yazd is the utopia of Iran tourism.

The well-known sweets, recreation resorts, Jame Mosque with its soaring minarets, water cisterns, windbreaks, fire temples, Zoroastrian crypts, and the other mountainous shrines are among the other attractions of this ancient city.
